Chin’s Qi Tuina Holistic Centre has just celebrated its 2nd anniversary on the 21st Feb 2018, having treated more than 3,000 patients in this short space of time.
The Mission of this Centre was to provide pain and aches relief to our patients to the best of our ability, in the shortest time span possible, utilising only holistic and non-invasive Qi Tuina methods with no side effects, thereby improving the patients’ Quality of LIFE.
Over these 2 years, it has been proven to our patients that our Qi Tuina methodology is much more effective than many other mainstream and more conventional means of treatment. We have successfully treated many cases of sprains, strains, sports injuries, falls (from 3rd floor of building etc.), old injuries, frozen and cold shoulders, stiff shoulders & neck, osteo-arthritic knees (already marked for TKR, total knee replacement. We have saved more than 70 knees from this procedure and they have recovered), rheumatism, stroke victims, kyphosis (hunchback), spondylosis, spinal stenosis, slipped discs, disc herniation, sciatica, painful tendonitis, weakness in joints and limbs, migraine, trigeminal neuralgia, and Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) plus other Auto-Immune diseases.
Although the list is impressive and the results on our patients were impressive, we always knew what we could do for our patients, other ways of treatment like western medicine, TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), Ayurveda, Tit Ta, Pai Da could also be used to treat these conditions with much slower and not so satisfying results, although our patients much prefer our painless, non-invasive, holistic Qi Tuina methods.
Personally, when I started this Centre, my aim was only to help as many people in pain as possible, and to pass this art to the next generation. Both my sons and my daughter know the principles of Qi Tuina, and one of them is almost my standard. So I have done that.
As I was about to take a short deserved rest on my laurels, not so long ago in February 2018, I received a call from a Tan Sri to do a house call as one of his knees was very arthritic and bow-legged, and he could not walk without a lot of pain.
He had this problem for a year and had seen a whole retinue of medical specialists, ayurvedic practitioners from India, TCM, and finally he went to see an orthopedic surgeon to arrange to replace his knee. Problem was that he could not recommend him for operation as the anaesthetic used may be too strong for his constitution.
So here was a Tan Sri with all the contacts and money stuck a whole year with excruciating pain. and very limited mobility.
After 3 house calls and a month of treatment, Tan Sri is now able to go to his office every day now, and walk confidently. This episode has made me realize that Qi Tuina is actually in a league of its own, and not only should I just pass this on to the next generation, I should spread it to the world to help as many people in pain as possible.
It dawned on me as the Founder of Chin’s Qi Tuina to spread this holistic art and methodology to benefit as many people in the world as possible by teaching as many people Qi Tuina as possible.
We are now drawing up 3 courses for Qi Tuina, Basic, Advanced, and Professional. It will be 50% theory and 50% practical training, and passing will depend on actual clinical results. The requirements to become a Qi Tuina practitioner are:-
- To have a love of humanity, and compassion for fellow human beings.
- To treat all patients to the best of your ability and with total integrity.
- Be able to work hard to develop own Qi, how to use the Qi (Yi).
- Must practise Qi Tuina after learning the art.
- Training is hard and arduous, both physically and mentally.
The courses are currently being drawn up and should be available by September 2018. Though the training is going to be tough, the benefits are far-reaching for the successful practitioners. The barrier to entry is high, and the practitioner can be certain that they cannot be replaced by Artificial Intelligence (AI). No robot, android, or machine has Qi !! All the techniques used so successfully in Qi Tuina needs the practitioner to use his Qi.
In this day and age where all conventional jobs are going to be taken over by AI, drivers, accountants, engineers, lawyers, sales, marketing, doctors, TCM, Ayurveda, any knowledge based endeavour, only Qi Tuina can be practised by a living practitioner.
With this revelation, we are now targeting to have at least 100 Qi Tuina practitioners by 2028. Are you interested ?? If so, watch out for our announcement in September 2018.
