A French man who allegedly ‘pimped out’ his wife for sex with almost 3, 000 men in four years faces a criminal trial. The 54-year-old man, of Meaux, north of Paris, made more than £5, 000 a month through prostituting his wife, a court heard. His 46-year-old wife had sex with 2, 742 different client, the Daily Mail has reported, including while he sat outside their home in the family car with his five-year-old child.
Emmanuel Dupic, prosecutor at the town’s criminal court, said: “The husband exercised a psychological power over his wife, preventing her from stopping submitting herself to the sexual needs of customers who were sometimes very tough.”
The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with pimping and now faces a decade in prison.
He has been released on bail but now faces a criminal trial for his actions.
In France, prostitution is legal but soliciting for clients – or pimping – is illegal.
This husband was said to have used internet websites and his phone to arrange men to have sex with his wife.
